Into the hearth of Sicily, Europe and the World

WE ARE STRAUSS

Our Mission

Strauss APS is a NGO that promotes international mobility among young people to and from Mussomeli, Sicily or Italy. We offer them the opportunity to develop themselves through various informal and non-formal education programmes. With our work we impact our region and we also connect it to the rest of Europe and the world. All this in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Our Vision

We are the reference organization for the international mobility of young people in Sicily and Italy. However, our impact is not limited only to our region, but also at national and international level, developing our network of cooperation and transversal projects.

TESTIMONIALS

THE VOICES OF OUR VOLONTEERS

“Volunteering can really open up new worlds and perspectives, introduce people to each other and forge bonds of friendship that go beyond the walls of cultural differences and incommunicability. And especially in the moment of need you can see that the distances are not so great, that solidarity and understanding outweigh cultural and linguistic diversity.

Sabrina Sergi
Volunteer in Turkey

“They are very welcoming” is the first thing I think, but I hadn’t really tested what was expected yet. From that moment on time starts to fly, the other volunteers arrive and I start to be in a hurry to meet them.

Peppe Mulè
Volunteer in Cyprus

“OK, I’ve never had a hard time socializing in my life, but the friendships I’m making these months are incredible. Maybe this is due to the fact that all the guys who decide to embark on the adventure of EVS are very open-minded and looking for experiences or other”…

Lorenzo Morotti
Volunteer in Lithuania

These are the experiences that change life, and I wish all young people who want to “get to know” Europe, to do an EVS that changes their lives as it happened to me!
